Barbara Montgomery

I had a number of outdoor painting excursions with
Barbara when I lived in the east, and we have kept in
touch and remained friends. She is an excellent,
fluid painter of the eastern woodlands, and has a vibrant
faith in Christ. Since 1990, Barbara has been
in over 50 exhibitions (including 12 solo exhibitions)
as well as teaching at the university level.

A Japanese artist, Akira painted with me a few times
outdoors in the Pennsylvania countryside. His intense focus
and interest in seeing "psychic color" in the landscape
made a lasting impression on me.
